“ Solid Asian food spot. Giving them a 9.5/10. Not over sauced. The chicken on this lo mein was very tender. Service was exceptional. Prices were surprisingly cheap for this quality of experience! ”
“ It had been a little while since I had been done here for Chinese food. I was surprised to see that they had changed their name. The entrees were still just as tasty as I can remember. Nice sized portions and great tasting food. We started with the satay chicken, 7/10 the peanut sauce was very good. We had the streamed dumplings with pork 6/10, a little plain and flavorless. The Vietnamese egg rolls left a lot to be desired, 4.5/10 they were tasteless and a let down. For entrees we got the sesame chicken 8.5/10 great flavor and spice. The other dish we got was the chicken and broccoli which was a 8.5/10. The brown rice was a little undercooked, so I am giving it a few points off for that. All in all I would recommend eating here. I have never been impressed with the Chinese food in Denver. This seems to be on the better side then some other places I have been to. The restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe. The waiter was busy with tables and to-go orders. I would imagine this would be a great place to get take out from. We look forward to coming back sometime in the future! ”
“ quick take-out service. delicious pad thai (with lots of egg), steamy sesame tofu, and crispy cream cheese wontons!! my only caveats are the noodles could have been spicier and the sesame tofu could've been crispier. i've ordered from here twice now and overall, an extremely positive experience both times. indoors, this place looked clean and calm when i picked up my food. ”
“ A true hole in the wall! I came to Honey Basil on a Saturday night. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and told to choose a sea anywhere in the restaurant. It was a bit slow but I appreciated it :) (I've realized that this place used to be called Spicy Basil but got a new menu and updated to Honey Basil!) We got served water and the server told us about the menu and food since it was our first time. We got recommended the Garlic Pepper Udon which caught my attention! Our server also informed us about their specials, they had buy one get one free on beers. We both got Coors light to enjoy but what a great deal! I was so excited to hear that lol. We ordered: - Spicy Basil Fried Rice: Very delicious and has a good kick of spice with the jalapeños that they add. - Pad See Ew: So yum! Simple but the flavor of this dish was fantastic, just a solid classic! - Lastly, Garlic Pepper Udon, which was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The recommendation sold us and it did not disappoint. Literally every other table around us had ordered this dish too. It's that good!! Trust me. Service was great! Atmosphere was nice. Prices are soo affordable! And the speed of getting served was awesome. I will definitely be back! Perhaps a new regular spot! ”
“ Great food, portions, and price! The food came out quickly and our waitress Yaz was so friendly and accommodating! I love that they had options for vegetarians, pescatarians, and carnivores alike. Their options were wide ranging and both that I tried were delicious. I got the Panang Curry with Shrimp and my cousins got the Green Curry with tofu. The shrimps that were in the Panang curry were huge! I really appreciated that they did not try to skimp me off of my money by giving small shrimps! The side options for the curry were great with their offerings as white, brown, or fried rice. The place is very clean and has lovely decorations and music. I would certainly return here and recommend this place to friends and family! ”
“ We decided to dine in and that was the move! You get way more food for the same price when you dine in. We went on a Thursday night and it was open seating. Not busy at all which made the service fantastic. He took care of us and was on point with every thing. Will definitely go back, the food was amazing! ”
